We were in town for the eclipse and luckily found this great small town Cafe. It's like eating at home or of course, your grandmother's place.
Parked my truck and walked 1.5 miles to this place. Had the fried chicken mashed potatoes and green beans. All was good. Mashed potatoes I thought were very good. Chicken was great. They were out of any pie. But it was worth the walk. Now back to my truck.
Homemade Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, Cole slaw, homemade roll 8.50. Their Ribeye melted in my mouth.
First time and definitely wont be the last. The two women running the place were professional and patient. It was very busy the entire time and they still took the time to be patient with me, my elderly parents, and my two small children. And the cherry on top was how amazing the food is! Its that true small town diner hidden gem people look for. I came for Julians but I will return for Grandmas. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Great food and environment! I have always loved coming here whether for breakfast or lunch! Servers are super nice and the decor is spot on!
Our first time here, I only wish we lived closer! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I had the omelette and my husband had the biscuit and gravy, the plates are FULL !
Took me longer to decide what to eat then it did for the food to hit my table. Only thing that I could say negative is that it's a cash/check only place. There is an ATM there, but there's a charge of course
Ate lunch there on 8/28/24. Cheeseburger, o-rings & iced tea were all good. All employees were friendly and I had a good time. I got there a little after 11 and by 11:30 they were very busy. I’ll be back for sure when I’m in town.
